Summer 1- 2018

Children will be learning all about the Queen’s Coronation.  The children will be answering questions about the Queen using books and the internet. They will be able to explain why she became the Queen and understand why she is significant.

Spring 2: 2018

Through topic, we will be focusing on Bangladesh through the scheme "CAFOD". We will look at life through the eyes of a young boy named Musu and will compare how our lives are the similar and different to his. We will consider things such as school food transport, games and local area.

Spring 1 2018:

We are loving learning all about historical explorers. We have used augmented reality to explore different continents and to re-enact the journey of The famous Neil Armstrong and Christopher Columbus. We will be learning about why such explorers are famous and how we remember them today.

Autumn 2: 2017

We will be asking the question "Where does Father Christmas go?". We will be looking at the 7 continents and comparing our continent, Europe, to others. We will also be finding out about the North and South Poles as well as our Equator.
