Literacy

Summer 1- 2018

In Literacy we will be continuing with our daily phonics lessons working through phase 3 of Letters and Sounds. In our reading we will enjoying non-fiction and fiction stories about our topic of space. The children will be encouraged to identify tricky words and decodable words as they read. We will be encouraging the children to continue to answer questions and make predictions related to a text. In writing we will be focusing on being able to independently write a sentence and read it back to themselves.

In Reception we read the story of SUPERTATO and asked the children to come up with ideas for their own super hero character and storyline. This is what we ended up with, we hope you enjoy it.
