Free School Meals

Dear Parent/Carers,

 

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

 

As you are aware the Government are funding school meals for all infant children, there is still a need for parents to register for free school meals if the following benefits are received.  School receives funding to support the education of a child when they are entitled to free school meals.

 

  • Income support.

  • Income based jobseeker’s allowance.

  • Income related Employment Support Allowance.

  • Support under part V1 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.

  • The guaranteed element of State Pension Credit.

  • Child Tax Credit – as long as the yearly household income is less than £16,190.

  • Working Tax Credit run-on(paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit.

  • Universal Credit. (If you claim Universal Credit do not apply online.Download a paper application form).

                                                            

      If you are already in receipt of Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support contact Liverpool City Council 0151 233 3000 who will

      automatically include Free School Meals on your claim.

     

    If parents/carers would like help in applying we will set up a drop in

    session where a member of staff will be on hand to help with your

    online application.  Please contact the school office and a date will

    be arranged.  Parent/carers who complete applications and provide a

    receipt will be entered into a prize draw.
