Year 2
Spring - Hope
Year 2 learnt about what helps us stay safe. They learnt how household products can be harmful and how to spot risks in everyday situations. They also focussed on how to cross the road, something which is essential in our local area.
Autumn 2 - Reasons to be Cheerful
Year 2 explored what communities they belong to as being part of a group is a reason to be cheerful. As friendship is such a vital part of our lives, the children looked at what makes a good friend.
Autumn 1 - Brave New World
During Brave New World, Year 2 looked at different feelings they sometimes experience and the special people in their lives. They focussed on how to describe and share their feelings. As part of their recovery curriculum, they looked at how they can look after their environment.
