Year 3

Autumn 2 3P: Today in geography we introduced our new topic all about the weather, climate and biomes. We then researched facts using the iPad and recorded our favourite fact that we found out

We became time travellers and used a range of geographical maps to identify the Greenwich Meridian. We also located different time zones around the world.

Y3 have been using an atlas to find and locate the Equator, Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn. We also created a key to locate countries that have hot and cold climates based on their location compared to the equator.

Autumn 2 . We have been using our enquiry skills to locate countries and continents in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere.
