Year 4

Spring Term

Year 4 have been looking at what makes a strong password and why it is important to have a strong password. From this the children created their own password security posters.

Year 4 have been looking at what technologies can be used to bully online.

Today, year 4 have been looking at online bullying and how to respond to this. This generated lots of discussion in class and at home.

Autumn Term

Year 4 continued to use their search skills and begun to take screenshots and compile evidence to use in their Geography lesson.

Year 4 have been using their search skills to locate countries on the iPad and through an application called Google Earth. This linked to our Geography topic looking at The Americas.

Year 4 have been using their digital design skills to create a charity T Shirt to raise money for the NHS for their hard work keeping us safe during the pandemic.

Year 4 have been exploring the theme of trust and whether we can always trust what we see and read on the internet.

Year 4 have been exploring what fake news is and why people would share fake news.
