Spring - Eucharist - Memorial Sacrifice
Year 5 have looked at the topic Eucharist. They enjoyed looking at the Passover meal and the symbolism here. They then looked at the symbolism in the Last Supper and Mass and why Mass is so important to Christians. We looked at the sacrifices that people make in their mission.
Spring - The Local Church - Mission
Year 5 have been looking at Mission. They have looked at their mission and how they live out their mission. They thought about how we continue Jesus’ mission in the world through how we act. They designed some charities and looked at the Archdiocese of Liverpool.
